You cannot have a combination of friends forever and partner commanders in your deck. Each partner has its own separate tally for commander tax. Is partner legal in commander?
If you cast your Commander from Hand, or the Graveyard, or from Exile, you do not pay Commander Tax. Partner, Partner with, and Companion all sound like similar abilities so it’s no wonder players become lost.
